Pistons

Pistons are inserted into the syringe barrel after it has been loaded with fluid to ensure uniform dispensing force, prevent dripping and oozing, and eliminate waste by wiping barrel walls clean as fluid is dispensed. Available in four styles:

General Purpose
White double-wiper pistons rest on top of the fluid and wipe barrels clean as fluid is dispensed.

Thick Fluids
Flat-walled orange pistons have a slightly looser fit to prevent “bouncing” when dispensing thick materials like greases, RTV silicones and brazing pastes.

Thin Fluids
Blue LV pistons improve control, contain fumes, and prevent fluid from being drawn back into the dispenser when vacuum is used to keep solvents and other very thin fluids from dripping.
